Weston Fifty plus Social Singles group

Weston Fifty plus Social Singles group were once again back into action – This year members of our group decided we hold an event to support Prostate Cancer UK. 

So on the 16th June (Father’s Day) members (aged between 65 and 79) Abseiled down the 150ft sheer cliff face of Uphill Quarry.

Taking part were two members of the group currently undergoing treatment for Prostate Cancer.

At this event we managed to raise an amazing £2,000 – Last year a Skydive, this year an Abseil  – What will this group be doing next year? – Watch this space.
